RT @RealJusticePAC: We are so proud of @TahanieNYC for running an unapologetically bold campaign for Manhattan DA. Thank you to everyone who helped build a diverse coalition around centering impacted communities and holding the powerful accountable. Here is what we accomplished ⬇️ https://t.co/IvGUPMNOd6
RT @Indiawaltonbflo: Buffalo WFP members helped run this campaign, and we could not have done it without them. So many more of our volunteers are joining WFP now. This campaign is only the beginning. This doesn’t stop with me. We’re coming for all the damn seats.
RT @Indiawaltonbflo: Our campaign was entirely volunteer run and many told us we didn’t have the right experience. But WFP helped us scale a field program that reached tens of thousands of Buffalo voters. We did the work, but @NYWFP was there with us every step of the way (2/4)
RT @Indiawaltonbflo: There are so many people people who made this victory possible, but I have to give a special shout out to @NYWFP and the entire Working Families Party. With no support from the Buffalo Democratic establishment, we turned to WFP, and they delivered (1/4)
RT @TahanieNYC: We must continue the fight to end the criminalization of people of color, put no badge or bank account above the law and focus on crime prevention by investing resources in our communities. It’s been an amazing journey & I’ve met so many people who have become family. 2/3
RT @TahanieNYC: I’m so proud of what our team was able to accomplish. It was never about us; it was about fighting for an unapologetically progressive vision of justice that truly centers the people and communities most impacted by mass incarceration and criminalization of poverty. 1/3

RT @aurabogado: In one case a @SouthwestKey shelter called 911 alleging a child *broke boxes and bed frames.* A @BexarCoSheriff deputy arrived and TASERED THE REFUGEE CHILD. The child's abuela told us he's thought about ending his life since then. Story w/ @lauracmorel: https://t.co/7Y9EkCH3KI
RT @aurabogado: NEW: We sued @HHSGov and got ≈300,000 records, one for every migrant child in custody in the last six years. The records indicate some children in shelters are turned over to cops. So we asked local law enforcement for more records. Some of what we've found has horrified me. https://t.co/BcnFrR0s6w

RT @JBlascoNYC: .@TahanieNYC talked about using this seat as a way to help prevent acts of violence before they even start. Under her watch there won’t be rubber stamping, there will be an investment, there won’t be criminalization, there will be restorative justice. #ManhattanDA (2/3)
RT @JBlascoNYC: It was just a couple of months ago when I sat down with @TahanieNYC at a local business to talk about her campaign. Right off the bat she wow’d me. She shared her personal story, her vision for the #ManhattanDA seat, & how she wants to shift the narrative. (1/3)
RT @TahanieNYC: I jumped into the #ManhattanDA race to hold police accountable for exactly these sorts of abuses, whether it’s against people peacefully enjoying a summer night in the park or against protestors I represent in court who were beaten for daring to speak up. RT @Quackackjac: @michaelharriot Yep. They walk in, beat this guy up, hold him down, back up comes in and shoots a fellow officer, then cops kill the guy. That's awful, but the worst part is that the police lied about it, the officers don't seem to have been disciplined, and its so normal its not even news.
RT @michaelharriot: Activists in KC have been telling me about this for a month. Cops say Malcolm Johnson shot at them when they tried to apprehend him, so they returned fire, killing him.
