30 years ago a jury failed to convict the LAPD officers who broke the law in their beating of Rodney King. 36 years before that a jury failed to convict the men everybody knew lynched Emmett Till. I truly believe the Chauvin trial is on that scale. A test for America’s soul.

RT @davidminpdx: “Objective journalists” do everything they can to make it seem like police reform is a real thing – that if we just make a few tweaks here and there it will all be ok – but real life keeps getting in the way. https://t.co/j21h9YcuuR https://t.co/Sa68mVVxho
RT @Jasmyne: I have an update on the story of the Black man who was kidnapped by the #LAPD when he was bringing in his trash can. Well LA City Atty Mike Feuer was not happy about that video he tried to keep hidden becoming public. So now he's just acting petty. https://t.co/EHJqEMCVC6
